Irokko plants 854 trees in Gaspésie

Irokko’s reforestation site in Gaspésie reaches a new milestone with the planting of 854 trees, funded by app users over the past few months.

This batch adds to the site’s existing registry, tracked individually with geolocation and photographic proof — the same rigor applied across all of Irokko’s Goldstandard-certified projects.

Each tree planted in Gaspésie represents roughly 0.5 tonne of CO₂ offset, directly benefiting the region’s partner forestry cooperative.

Irokko will keep publishing planting updates as new batches are confirmed on the ground.
